Hey my name is Joel and I currently reside in Des Moines, Iowa which has been my home for most of my life.  I'm 25 years old, soon to be 26 and oh boy I just can't wait!!!  My birthday is May 12 for all that are wondering.

In August of 2003 I was diagnosed with Bi-Polar Disorder.  Since that day I have been trying various methods and medications to control this genetic disorder.  If u would like to chat about this part of my life or if you too have Bi-Polar and would like to connect and talk about it get back to me in the Feedback section.  I'll have another page up in a few weeks about my disorder and how it affects my life as a whole.

Family-wise my parents divorced when I was in the 5th grade.  Both parents have remarried since then.  As far as siblings go, I have 3 brothers and 3 sisters all resulting from previous and current marriages.  Woo-hoo!  All of my brother and sisters are married but two.  I really don't talk to them much at all.
